Açaí Berry Bowl
Based on the Juice It Up Açaí Berry Bowl, this is a must-have treat for those hot summer days when you don’t want to eat ice cream but still have that craving! Let this recipe give you A çaí of relief (lol) as it is one of the top super fruits and promotes great heart health!
INGREDIENTS
Açaí Puree (1 packet)
Strawberries (1 lb)
2 oz. Water
Frozen Blueberries
Granola
Coconut Flakes
Honey or Agave Nectar
DIRECTIONS
1. Remove stems from strawberries and place all of them into a blender. Blend until fully broken down.
2. Strain strawberries into a bowl to separate the juice from everything else. Discard the remaining pulp and set juice aside.
3. Rinse blender to remove any remaining strawberry pulp. Add açaí puree, a handful of frozen blueberries, water and strawberry juice to blender.
4. Blend until smooth. If you would like it thicker, add more frozen blueberries; to make it thinner add more water or strawberry juice.
5. Place blended açaí mixture into a bowl and top with granola, coconut, honey and your desired fruit of choice!
